Jonathan Traylor - Owner
Jonathan graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Engineering. In 2009, he founded Meridian Custom Homes after working in commercial construction and residential/light commercial construction for several years.
Jonathan was drawn to residential construction because he enjoys working with clients to create their dream homes. For him, the work is personal.
Jonathan and his three children enjoy spending time outdoors, especially at the lake in the spring/summer and hunting in the fall/winter.
They also enjoy doing fun things around Austin, such as live music, sporting events, and trying new restaurants.
Austin Traylor – Superintendent
Austin earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Texas Tech University, where he met his wife, Shelby. He then worked as a Project Engineer with Austin Commercial from 2013 to 2016.
Austin was an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served as a Rifle Platoon Commander and Rifle Company Executive Officer until 2020. After the Marine Corps, he joined his brother at MCH.
Austin´s focus at MCH is building strong client relationships through communication and trust, and unparalleled quality control.
Austin enjoys hunting, waterskiing, and golf. He and Shelby’s first child was welcomed in June 2021, and their second in June 2024.
